Driver slams into Mountain Metro bus; Colorado Springs police say speed likely factor
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Two people were taken to the hospital after a car hit a city bus near Palmer Park Saturday night. The collision happened just before 8:40 p.m. at a bus stop on North Academy near Maizeland. Police say the Mountain Metro bus was stopped when an oncoming driver slammed into it.

Accident blocks highway near Mesa Ridge High School
FOUNTAIN, Colo. (KKTV) - Highway 16 Westbound was shut down for several hours after a traffic accident near Mesa Ridge High School late Monday morning. According to the Fountain Police Department, the crash involved two vehicles, with four people transported for medical care- two for serious injuries. No students were involved.
