1 person dead after Des Moines hit-and-run
DES MOINES, Iowa — Detectives are looking for the vehicle and suspect involved in a fatal hit-and-run that occurred early Sunday morning. Around 2 a.m., Des Moines police and fire personnel responded to a report of an injured person in the 1000 block of East Railroad Avenue, where they found a dead woman on the road.
