Arrest made after violent East Limestone assaults, car thefts and crashes on Lon Road

ATHENS, Ala. (WAFF) - The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest following a violent incident Sunday, April 26, 2026, on Lon Road in East Limestone. Deputies responded to reports of multiple assaults and stolen vehicles. Upon arrival, deputies located four victims, including two elderly individuals. Emergency medical personnel and investigators responded to the scene.
