DALLAS — A Dallas City Council vote cleared the way for a new Central Market grocery store in Uptown. On Tuesday, the Dallas City Council approved a rezoning request to expand an existing building and add parking structures to a piece of land located at the intersection of Lemmon and McKinney Avenue in the heart of Uptown Dallas.
Suspects arrested in Trinity River illegal dumping scheme
Dallas Police have arrested 59-year-old Kyle Boyd and charged him with three counts of illegal dumping related to a large landfill buildup on the bank of the Trinity River. The City of Dallas had known about the illegal dumping for over two years, and began a formal investigation in Dec. 2025, according to an arrest affidavit.
