Speeding driver dies in Henderson power pole collision

A fatal crash occurred on Saturday around 5 p.m. near Via Inspirada and Las Vegas Boulevard in Henderson. The driver of a Ford F-150 collided head-on with a powerline electrical pole, causing the vehicle to catch fire. The driver, who was the only occupant, succumbed to their injuries. Speed was a contributing factor to the crash.
