LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — A Snellville man is in jail for his connection to a hit-and-run accident that left a 3-year-old dead, according to police. The accident took place in the early morning hours of Apr. 26. Lawrenceville Police said officers received a call about a missing 3-year-old at an apartment complex located at 287 E Crogan Street.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A Lawrenceville man has pleaded guilty to shooting and killing two people he attended church with in December. Javier Aragon Ruiz, 55, entered his plea on Tuesday, according to the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office. He was convicted of two counts of malice murder, two counts of felony murder, four counts of aggravated assault and four weapons charges.
