LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WZTV) — La Vergne Police Department officers responded to a serious armed robbery incident involving multiple suspects. Officers located the car in a pursuit after the suspects attempted to escape. Suspects threw a gun from the car, and officers released spike strips. Multiple suspects were detained.

According to arrest papers, Jeanmaria Chirinos Machado is accused of stealing 38 packages while working as a deliver driver. There were 81 items in those packages with a total value of $2,260, police reported.
