News Briefs: Beaver Creek Canyon bridge construction begins

The city of Troutdale has begun construction on a new Beaver Creek Canyon bridge. The first phase of construction started in the final week of July with the contractor installing a perimeter fence around the parklet and trailhead on Southeast Evans Avenue. That area will be closed for construction through Sept. 30.
