Secret Service removes 5 skimming devices in Sacramento and Napa County fraud operation
CALIFORNIA, USA — The U.S. Secret Service, in coordination with multiple federal and local partners, conducted an outreach operation targeting Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) fraud and payment card skimming in Sacramento and Napa Counties from April 27–29. Officials said personnel visited 510 businesses during the operation and inspected more than 3,000 point-of-sale terminals, gas pumps, and ATMs.
