An adult male driver has died following a one-car collision early Sunday morning in the area of Crabbs Branch Way and Moccasin Lane in Derwood. According to Montgomery County Police officers, the driver was headed south on Crabbs Branch Way when he drove off the road and struck a tree at approximately 1:41 a.m.

Atlantic City police are searching for a suspect who stabbed a man and assaulted a woman during an argument at the Showboat Resort on Sunday night. Police were called to the hotel-casino at 10:38 p.m. and found that a 38-year-old Severn, Maryland woman had been assaulted. She was hospitalized with injuries considered not life-threatening.
