Soukup Construction Inc. has acquired Asphalt Surfacing Company, growing its capabilities within the construction industry. Both companies are based in Sioux Falls. Soukup was founded in 1963 by Carl and Marietta Soukup in Scotland, South Dakota, essentially with a bulldozer and a pickup truck.
