CENTRAL POINT, Ore. - A 74-year-old woman fell 20 feet into a well while helping her neighbor insulate pipes ahead of winter. The woman was working inside a well house when the flooring gave out. She plunged into standing water about 12 feet deep and was stranded in the dark for two hours.
