Leandra Johnson wasn't due to give birth for about another three weeks when, in January 2007, discomfort led her to the nearest hospital. Shortly after her baby boy was born, he stopped breathing. He wouldn't take another breath for more than a hour, but a miracle happened that is now being recognized by Pope Leo XIV.
