As early as June 11, 2026, the entrance to the Community Center parking lot from Community Drive will close. The closure is necessary so contractor All-American Concrete can begin work on the next phase of the parking lot project.
The project, which was discussed during March’s online Project Open House series, will improve the connection to the North Ridge Trail, add sidewalks and traffic-calming speed tables for pedestrian safety, replace and resurface the west side of the lot and its entrances.
This is the second phase of this project. The project will be phased so one entrance to the lot, either from Cherry Street or Community Drive, will be open at all times. During one phase, the Library’s exterior entrance on the building’s west side will be closed. The work will begin on the east side of the building next to the pool.
