Saturday marks 18 years since the historic crest on the Cedar River in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Iowa’s News Now) — On June 13, 2008 downtown Cedar Rapids was flooded by historic high waters on the Cedar River.

Saturday marks 18 years since that record crest of 31.12 feet, 11 feet higher than the river had ever gone before.
