CEDAR RAPIDS — An established Indian restaurant is closing in Cedar Rapids as its owner enters a new chapter in life. But fans of the restaurant can look forward to another iteration of it in the future.
Delhicacy, a full-service restaurant at 921 Blairs Ferry Rd. NE, has announced plans to close just shy of its five-year anniversary. Its last day of operation will be July 18.
“They say it takes five years for a restaurant to make its mark — and looking back at everything we’ve built since 2021, I can say with an incredibly full heart: We did it,” owner Sneh Chopra said in her closing announcement July 7. “Closing this physical storefront does not negate a single thing we have accomplished.
