MOULTON, Iowa- The 17-year-old suspect in a triple shooting has been arrested for attempted murder, among other charges.
Drakona Lee Clark, of Moulton, was taken into custody at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, where he was receiving treatment for injuries stemming from the incident, stated a news release from the Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened around 2:30 Monday afternoon after an altercation between family members at a home on East Third Street, said Sheriff Gary Anderson.
“Three adults had sustained gunshot wounds, and we called in three helicopters, which landed at the Moulton school softball/baseball field and transported three people from there, including the shooter, to Iowa City and also Des Moines area hospitals,” he told WHO 13’s Katie Kaplan at the scene. “A fourth adult was taken to Mercy Hospital in Centerville, where they were getting treated for their injuries.”…
