Cedar Rapids Police Search for Missing 17-Year-Old Shyanne Evans Last Seen Aug. 11 in Southwest Neighborhood

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA — Police in Cedar Rapids are asking for help finding 17-year-old Shyanne Evans, who was reported missing after she was last seen in the city’s southwest side. Authorities said Evans disappeared from the 3000 block of 12th Ave. SW and was last seen around 10 a.m. on Aug. 11.

Investigators described Evans as 5-foot-4 and said she was carrying a tie-dyed backpack when she was last seen. Cedar Rapids police have not released any additional details about where she may have gone or how long she has been missing.
