Man charged for entering University of Iowa utility tunnels

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – A man has been charged with felony trespassing after University of Iowa public safety officials say he and another person went into the underground campus tunnels.

According to a criminal complaint, 18-year-old Cody Morris from Iowa City went into the tunnels shortly after midnight on July 18.

University officials say Morris gained access to numerous restricted utility management and control areas…
