The Linn County Sheriff’s Office seized and removed vehicles from the lot at Sky Auto Mall Thursday morning. A judge ruled nearly a week ago those vehicles should be returned to Stellantis. The auto-maker is suing the owners of Sky Auto, accusing them of taking out double loans and keeping two sets of financial records to hide them. Stellantis says the owners owe more than $12 million. Sky Auto has closed both its locations in Center Point and Newhall, and laid off 76 employees.      

Gov. Kim Reynolds could soon sign a bill to loosen restrictions on car window tints. The current 70 percent light transmission requirement would be cut to 50 percent. The new law would apply to the driver and passenger side windows; the back windows can be as dark as the driver wants…
