TIFFIN, Iowa (KCRG) – More than 100 Eastern Iowa high school students stepped out of the classroom and onto an active construction site Friday, getting a firsthand look at careers in the trades.
Students from Clear Creek-Amana and Williamsburg High Schools participated in a hands-on construction careers event at the future Tiffin Recreation Center. The event, hosted by Miron Construction, gave students the chance to rotate through interactive stations and learn about different aspects of the industry.
