Midnight House Fire Leaves Cedar Rapids Family Homeless With No Warning
Late Wednesday night in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, six people, three adults and three children, were forced out of their home after a garage fire broke out and quietly crept into the attic before anyone fully realized what was happening.
The Cedar Rapids Fire Department responded around 11:15 p.m. to the 1200 block of Wright Brothers Boulevard SW. When crews arrived, the attached garage was already fully engulfed.
Nobody was hurt. But the family had nowhere to go.
