(TNS) — Families and staff in Iowa City schools want less screen time, stronger safeguards and more intentional device use — possibly barring elementary and middle school students from taking school-issued devices home.
A survey issued by the district gathered feedback from families and staff on student’s use of laptops to begin informing a new plan for how technology should be used in the classroom. More than 2,300 people responded to the survey, and results were shared with the Iowa City school board Tuesday.
