IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – Fire damaged a home and a vehicle early Saturday morning on Plaen View Drive, according to the Iowa City Fire Department.
Firefighters were dispatched at 3:53 a.m. to the 2000 block of Plaen View Drive after reports that the front of the house was on fire. Crews arrived about six minutes later and found flames at the front of the home that had spread into the attic and to a vehicle in the driveway.
Two people who live in the home got out safely before crews arrived. No injuries were reported to residents or firefighters…
