Deer Valley school board member under fire for holding up a ‘Nazi’ salute during meeting

PHOENIX — A Deer Valley Unified School District board member is facing community backlash after she held up a Nazi salute and said “heil” at the end of a board meeting this week.

The board member, Kimberly Fisher, took to Facebook after the Tuesday night meeting and expressed her displeasure with how the end of the meeting was handled, even calling the board president a “dictator.”

“I didn’t know whether he was just behaving like a dictator because he wanted power, or because he had a purpose,” Fisher said of board president Paul Carver. “This nonsense that a board can’t talk to even schedule in a meeting, which is what he said in there tonight at the board meeting, that is stupid, and it is absolutely not accurate.”…
