When Victoria Correy was a young girl in foster care, no relative was available to take her in.
Years later, when her own nephew and two nieces needed a home, she answered the call.
That decision launched a journey that would eventually see the former Gilbert and current Mesa resident care for 84 foster children over 15 years, adopt four of them, build a career with Arizona’s child welfare system and, most recently, become a kinship caregiver for three of her grandchildren.
