PHOENIX (AZFamily) — We continue with First Alert Weather Days for extreme heat around metro Phoenix through Monday at 8 p.m.
Already on this Friday, we’ve set a record with an overnight low of 94 at Sky Harbor International Airport. The previous warmest low on this day was 91 degrees. That’s a big part of the issue we’re dealing with in this heatwave: no early morning relief.
As far as highs are concerned, we’ll be in the 114-117 degree range for the weekend, so record-setting on the “high” side is possible as well…
