PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Look for mostly sunny skies and an afternoon high of 102 degrees in the Valley today, which is a few degrees below normal for this time of year in Phoenix.
There is a slight chance of afternoon and early evening storms in the Valley. Isolated thunderstorms could pop up this afternoon across Central Maricopa County and portions of Pinal County.
Eastern Arizona could also see storms today, but storms drop to near 20 to 30 percent in the White Mountains over the holiday weekend ahead. Storm chances are only near about 20% this weekend in Northern Arizona. Moisture from Hurricanes Marie and Karina will move into Western Arizona, bringing higher rainfall chances to that part of the state by Saturday and Sunday…
