PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Authorities say a person has died after crashing on a freeway ramp in west Phoenix early Sunday morning.
According to the Department of Public Safety, troopers were called out to a single-vehicle collision on the I-10 on-ramp at 43rd Avenue around 2 a.m. Authorities say the vehicle crashed into the wall, resulting in at least one death.
What led up to the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if anyone else was inside the vehicle.
The on-ramp was closed for several hours but reopened before 6 a.m…
