PHOENIX — A new report shows that eight Arizona hospitals are among hundreds nationwide facing potential closure or significant service reductions.
The report from the nonprofit advocacy group Public Citizen attributes the risk to a combination of thin profit margins and sweeping cuts to federal funding. Among the Arizona facilities that could be affected are Valleywise Health and HonorHealth Tempe Medical Center.
