Suspect in deadly shooting on Loop 101 claims she and victim planned to die by suicide, court records show

GLENDALE, Ariz. — Recently released court documents reveal new information about the deadly car fire turned homicide investigation on Loop 101.

On April 21, DPS troopers responded to reports of a car fire on the southbound Loop 101 near 75th Avenue. When troopers arrived on scene, they located a woman near the burning car and a body in the passenger seat with a gunshot wound.
