PHOENIX — A lawsuit filed by a Suns employee has been dismissed nearly a year after it was initially filed.
In the lawsuit, filed in May 2025, Gene Traylor, the Suns’ director of safety, security and risk management, alleged that a report he compiled on safety, financial and reputational risks the team may face led to workplace discrimination, the team violating the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Arizona Civil Rights Act.
