NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A new experimental pill is showing promise for pancreatic cancer patients who have run out of treatment options.
Revolution Medicines tested the drug Daraxonrasib, through a three-phase international multicenter trial, the most powerful kind of trial, on 500 patients who had already failed one round of chemotherapy. The drug cut their risk of death by 60% compared to chemo alone.
Patients who once had a survival window of just six months are now living more than 13 months…
