NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A man accused in a deadly 2021 shooting will spend more than a decade in prison after he changed his plea to guilty.
A judge sentenced 50-year-old Sean Dimitris Brown to 20 years in prison with credit for five years already served, meaning 15 more behind bars.
Brown was charged with murder and possession of a deadly weapon in connection to the Oct. 20, 2021, shooting of Reginald Hamilton in the parking lot of the Economy Inn and Suites on Rivers Avenue.
