NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — After weeks of deliberation, tenants at the Ferndale Mobile Home Community have reached an agreement with the property owner, but many residents still face the difficult reality of finding a new place to live before their deadline.
Under the agreement, New Tide LLC will pay $70,000 to Ferndale tenants through the housing union. For residents like Bruce Ford, the agreement does not erase the stress of relocating.
