CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after a Charleston County Sheriff’s Office pursuit in Summerville ended in a fatality Saturday morning.
The incident occurred around 2:40 a.m. Saturday on Secondary 1744 near Maria Eden Road, where a 2017 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling west in an attempt to elude law enforcement when it ran off the road and struck a pole, Master Trooper Joseph Rowell said.
