CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — The Charleston Police Department, along with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, is teaming up with local partners to host its fourth annual free Unity Day Health and Wellness Resource Fair on Saturday.
This free community event will connect Tri-County residents with multiple agencies and resources, including:
- Mental health services
- Medical care
- Housing assistance
- Legal aid
- Insurance information
- Utility assistance
- Entitlements, and more.
After postponing last weekend due to weather, event organizers said they saw a huge turnout Saturday.
Hundreds lined up at Trident Technical College’s Palmer Campus for free blood pressure testing, food, baby supplies and more.
