Man arrested for heroin trafficking after mobile home investigation

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A local man was arrested on Tuesday after a mobile home investigation turned up about 25 grams of Heroin, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

The Narcotics Detectives Unit and Intelligence-Led Police Unit (ILP) arrived at the residence in the 4200 block of Barnwell Avenue to serve a search warrant on the property.

Upon entry, officers found five individuals and three dogs that were described as aggressive. Several of the individuals rushed into the bathroom, which delayed their detention, and were then found to have water on their arms and clothing, which police believe was an attempt to destroy evidence…
