A suspect is dead following a deputy-involved shooting in Summerville.
Early Thursday morning on July 2, 2026, Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported burglary in progress at Sonny’s Marathon Gas Station at 512 Boone Hill Rd. in Summerville at roughly 12:16am.
