NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A man was arrested Wednesday after he reportedly physically assaulted his former girlfriend and threatened her with a knife, according to the North Charleston Police Department.
35-year-old Brett William Cartmill was arrested and charged with domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.
The report on the incident states that at approximately 5:45 p.m. officers responded to a residence in reference to a requested escort.
