HANAHAN, SC (WCIV) — Hanahan Mayor Christie Rainwater announced Monday that she will not file to run for Mayor of Hanahan, ending nearly a decade in office.
In a statement, Rainwater highlighted accomplishments during her tenure, including downtown redevelopment, new parks and trails, and transportation projects. She also thanked residents for their support and said she plans to remain active in serving the community.
