Aug. 24 (UPI) — A South Carolina man said a normal day turned into his “lucky day” when a spur-of-the-moment lottery ticket purchase earned him a $200,000 top prize.
The Lowcountry man told South Carolina Education Lottery officials he was at the Circle K on Mathis Ferry Road in Mount Pleasant when he decided to buy a $5 50X scratch-off ticket.
The ticket turned out to be a $200,000 top prize winner.
“It was my lucky day,” the winner said. “I hoped one day it would happen.”…
