CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office and the United States Coast Guard worked together Monday night to rescue a stranded boater from an oyster bed deep in the marsh along the Dawhoo River.
According to the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office, deputies launched an airboat after the Coast Guard requested assistance with a boater who had been stranded in the river for several hours and was showing signs of dehydration.
