NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Traffic is partially blocked on both I-526 westbound and I-26 westbound after a tractor trailer with a high load struck a sign on I-526 westbound just before Rivers Avenue, blocking the right lane, according to the North Charleston Police Department.
According to police after striking the sign, the driver continued on to I-26 westbound where a second accident occurred at the Eagle Drive overpass.
Traffic is currently being affected with one lane open on I-526 westbound and two lanes open on I-26 westbound. It is not clear at this time when the lanes will reopen…
