MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) — A 19-year-old has been convicted and was sentenced to life in prison for the 2022 murder of Rayvonta Deas, who was killed in an an abandoned lot on Black Tom Road in Moncks Corner.
Jerell Tresean McMillan was convicted of murder as well as for the desecration of human remains, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and third degree arson.
According to evidence established at the trial, on July 6, 2022 McMillan lured Deas to the abandoned lot on Black Tom Road under the pretense of a marijuana transaction, while planning instead to rob him…
