NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — One person was injured Friday after reports of a “disturbance involving gunfire” in the Horizon Village neighborhood of North Charleston, local authorities said.
Authorities did not provide a specific time on Friday. But they were called to the area of Verde Avenue and Four Poles Park Drive, where they found shell casings on the road but did not locate anyone involved, according to the North Charleston Police Department.
Shortly after the investigation at the scene, law enforcement’s attention turned to a person discovered on the 2600 block of Woodlawn Avenue, 1.5 miles away from the initial scene, who was shot. They then took them to a hospital for medical attention. Their current status remains unknown…
