NCPD increased police presence, aims to deter crime in Chicora/Cherokee Community

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department has realigned enforcement efforts to increase visibility in the South region of the city, to keep criminals out.

By increasing visibility in the Chicora/Cherokee community, the North Charleston Police Department aims to deter crime and improve safety. The Southern region, classified as zones one through three, includes neighborhoods such as Chicora Place, Cherokee Place, and Buckfield.
