NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The family of a Moncks Corner man killed in 2022 is speaking out following a recent conviction in the case, raising concerns about how justice is being handled for others accused in the crime.
Jerell Tresean McMillan, 19, was found guilty in April for the July 6, 2022, murder of 24-year-old Rayvonta Deas on Black Tom Road. McMillan was convicted of multiple charges, including murder, desecration of human remains, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, assault and arson.
