SUMMERVILLE, S.C. — A two‑day warrant sweep carried out by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of 16 people this week, as deputies from both agencies teamed up to track down individuals wanted on a range of misdemeanor and felony charges.
The coordinated operation took place Tuesday and Wednesday across multiple jurisdictions, targeting offenders who officials say posed ongoing risks to public safety. Deputies worked jointly to identify, locate, and take wanted individuals into custody.
Dorchester County Sheriff Sam Richardson said the sweep underscores the agencies’ shared commitment to pursuing offenders who attempt to avoid accountability.
