CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Fourteen people were indicted by a federal grand jury in Charleston on charges of trafficking narcotics, including cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine, investigators announced at a press conference on Wednesday.
The indictment is part of a years-long drug trafficking investigation spanning South Carolina and extending into Georgia and Mexico. To date, 26 people have been charged in connection with the conspiracy, and eight have pleaded guilty.
